You might be asking yourself, What the heck is Mysterium?!? In some strange manner you could have stumbled upon this site purely accidentally or through some link that lead you here. Now you ask... What am I looking at? What is this about? Who are these people and why do I care? ;)Mysterium is not any different than any other fan convention or conference. It too is a gathering of fans... but fans of the games Myst Riven and all other things created by CyanWorlds. The people shown on this page are people who have been chatting online for the past yr or more. Mysterium is for those fans who want to get together in person and meet face to face.
The first year (2000) of Mysterium was at CyanWorld Headquarters in Spokane, Washington. Several 100 fans descended upon the place to pay homage and visit their favorite company and to meet all the chatters online they had come to know so well.
Year two (2001) of Mysterium was in Carlsbad, New Mexico. It was a little more subdued than year one and although there weren't QUITE so many fans, it was still a very cool event as UBISoft and our own famous and well beloved Dr Richard Watson of Cyan showed up to give us a wonderful treat. :D
This year's Mysterium, our third now, called a good 50 people to the Northeastern part of the US to visit with friends and acquaintances online. We were given a wonderful treat for our pains and I hope to be able to share part of that treat on this site as future updates are made on this site. So many are to be thanked too for making this year's event a success... including UBISoft, Cyan, Rand Miller and Richard Watson, IMF, Presto and so many others including our beloved chairwoman Scraper! :)
