Woke up early for me (10am mine 8 am Spokane time) and showered and got ready for the day ahead. Everyone had been asking me "What are we doing?" "What's the plan and schedule?" etc etc to which I kept thinking "WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYONE?" meaning the rest of the committee. LOL I passed out some of my brochures I made and the night before w/o anyone seeing someone had come in and left maps to all the landmarks and such we were to spend time finding on Friday.

We separated into our different groups and headed out. Our group got lost but we eventually found out way to Menito Park. That was the most beautiful park. It had lots of things that were Myst-like and the japanese gardens and stylings of the park were lovely! Everyone noted the "Mechanical Age" picnic areas with Rotary Club gears inside each one. LOL I was in awe of all the huge firs and pines... especially with the many ravens cawing all around us. I wanted to get pictures of EVERYTHING! :D

At some point we found this little hill and climbed it up to find that it held a remarkable similarity to the cliff in Riven where Cho is found unconscious. The One and Only Aaron decided to be Cho and we all took pics of him posing. LOL Klamaas found a slinky on the other side of the hill. We ended up later having him take pics of him using it to strangle Fahrmy. That was when M@ (Klamaas' twin) said: "See he IS the evil twin!" LOL We also found another nice hill with a full view of the park. From there you could see the Myst-like cabins in the trees... which were actually dunny's. ;) Plus Moleculo took it upon himself to climb this one tree and have us take pics of him. *grins* I think he suddenly drew the name of Moleculo the Monkey for his actions.

We so wanted to get the clocktower @ 2:40 but when we passed that way we thought it was more important to go eat so that's what we did. We stopped by the hotel, grabbed more people and went out for food. Afterwards we ended up at Riverfront park and hiked around. The clocktower from Myst was the first thing we saw. We also snapped shots of a weird sign near the water. We crossed the bridge and found a nice duck pond with lots of geese, ducks and other water fowl. Eventually we headed over to the Imax theatre / Wahrk gallows area which was actually a small amusement park / games area. Behind it was a nice view of I think the Spokane River. No batteries there for Teresa so we headed back over to the Carousel or "Loof" as they call it (Frasier had Spokane in an Episode!) which I really wanted to see. We still found no batteries but I managed to get me some more water (man was it hot!) and some nice postcards (4 of the clocktower looking MUCH like the sunset version on RealMyst.)

We finally grew tired and went back to the hotel. Finally I saw Greydragon and Scraper. At the hotel we found MORE people and I saw DAVID!!!!!!!!!!!! I was really impressed because his pictures did him little justice. :D We talked and he gave me a ride to eat chinese food. We all sat at the Chinese Buffet having a great time meeting. Bill Slease, Lemon Lime and Bob all showed up. They were really sweet too. After eating we ended up going to LaserQuest. David couldn't stay :( but he promised to be back the next day for Cyan's open house. I was disappointed he couldn't stay but it was nice we got to meet up. The mass of us at the Laser Quest place waited to play against each other. The whole place was stuffy and hot but it was a major rush running around in the blacklight illuminated maze and trying to shoot people. Me and Lady Kira ended up getting each other the most. LOL Greydragon was evil and hid in the blindcorner getting people like a sniper. LOL Klamaas kept getting me too and I was chasing him alot. ;)

After an exhausting TWO games (which I ranked 19 and 20) we all went back to the hotel and hung out. I didn't go to bed till after 1 or 2 am... but man was it fun!
